The Making Beats course is an excellent course for anyone wanting to start out learning drum programming. The 2 days is packed with a lot of information from drum sequencing and drum sounds to the importance of swing and velocity. The tutor was engaging with each student helping each one get what they wanted out of the course. SOS provides all the things that are needed. I Would highly recommend this course to anyone wanting to get into electronic music production.

I would rate the Making Beats course 10/10. The course was fantastic, all the hardware and systems were supplied and I loved how experienced and friendly the tutor was and how patient he was for someone with no experience using step sequencers. Was great in every way. Would definitely recommend this course to anyone wanting to learn how to use it.

The SOS Making Beats course really changed the whole game for me. I went from putting together a few beats on their own to producing full tracks within a weekend. I highly recommend this course for anyone wanting to take the next step past small-time bedroom production and live sampling into something much much bigger.

I was lucky enough to spend a full weekend with the Making Beats course. We quickly determined what i already knew about making drums and adapted the course on the fly to accommodate. The tutor was incredibly thorough with every concept we approached, yet nothing was drawn out or unnecessary. I can honestly say that I learnt more in that weekend of production in general, than I have in the longest time. More importantly though, we had fun. I can’t wait to embrace some new courses this year.

As an Electronic music producer now for 10 years I enrolled in the Making Beats course last year. After years of programming and making my own beats my workflow was still slow, but with the tutors help we ironed out problems and consolidated my process. The tutor delivered a fashion that is comprehensive and at a comfortable pace. I would recommend this course to all beat makers out there… 😉
